MONTH/SEASON IN REVIEW AND WHAT TO DO FOR BALANCING HEALTH

It’s that time of year again to begin noticing how nature is restarting/resetting after whatever slumber it had undergone this past winter. With each day that passes since the winter solstice, there has been an increase in sunlight. That’s one event that remains unchanged in spite of the unusual weather patterning we have been experiencing this time of year. These unusual seasonal dramatic and extreme events have every on their toes with how to balance their health. This entire Fall, Winter, and beginning Spring months have not presented within a normal range of what has been known to be consistent with past experiences.

It is not uncommon for us to consider detoxing and even fasting as part of the process which usually occurs now as per a dense winter as we have historically known. The fact that nature herself hasn’t been consistent means that we are also challenged with potential vitiations in our own day-to-day as we have unusually warm days replacing days where snow and ice once stood. Careful considerations this year are needing to be applied in order to be successful especially in knowing that the weather patterns are very unpredictable and nature isn’t operating from her “regularly scheduled program.”

It is by virtue of the necessity to support the body that we remember to practice as much consistency within our daily practices, that line up with seasonal shifts that will help us stay afloat and reduce the causative factors that contribute to ill health. As I’ve stated before, the body is a historical system and requires consistency for health.

Below are some articles that can provide some useful tools in how to navigate this rocky terrain as the month’s progress forward.
