REGARDING COVID-19:
As a healthcare provider, I'd like to secure you all in knowing that I am proactively ensuring the safety of Still Point Ayurveda and following closely the daily discussions, suggestions, recommendations, and appropriate protocols to help reduce the spreading of this disease as per the CDC, WHO and Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
Please know that I care deeply for all of you and respect those of you that wish to stay home as part of social distancing and in protecting yourselves. I am grateful to those of you that are also taking the precautions needed for social distancing and following the below protocols in place in order to optimally protect each other as I work with you in person. This includes those of you that continue to see me at the office.
It can be a challenge to be of service while simultaneously honoring the enforced guidelines for social distancing in a responsible way, especially for healthcare providers.
Still Point Ayurveda is more than a wellness center. It offers direct Ayurveda holistic and fully integrated healthcare, education, and support around well-being which includes considerations around encouraging increased immunity, digestive health, sleep, exercise, and overall stress management. For this, Ayurveda has a lot to offer and can prove to be a vital necessity during the stress of the current times.

HERE IS THE CURRENT COVID SAFETY PROTOCOL OFFERED AT STILL POINT AYURVEDA:
1) All doorknobs will be sanitized.
2) Clients will be expected to wash their hands upon entering and leaving.
3) Linens are changed between clients and properly contained.
4) For my own protection and the protection of my clients, if you appear to be unwell, I will cancel your appointment upon visit.
5) Should you feel as though you have anything that is "flu-like, cold-like, or viral-like," please stay home until you are absolutely sure of what it is, and seek appropriate medical care via a medical doctor if you're not sure.
6) I will be washing my hands between clients and even as I enter and leave my office.
7) Surface areas will be wiped down and with appropriate disinfecting agents.
8) I will allow a 10-minute window between clients in order to ensure that there will be NO overlapping of client contact.
9) Should you plan to arrive earlier than planned, you will be expected to stay outside or in your car until the previous client has left the office.
10) I will be using a mask as I work on anyone who is on the session table, along with while sitting at the desk where both of us will be wearing a mask.
11) You will be expected to wear a mask, based on the current recommendations of Governor Wolf. This applies to being on the session table. Should you be unable or uninterested in wearing a mask, especially while face-down, it is optional not to wear it but I'll still be wearing mine.
12) An office air purifier will be operating.
13) The entrance door will be open while the security door allows for more airflow.
14) If you have any predisposition to upper respiratory issues, are immune-compromised, are diabetic and at risk due to low immunity, and/or are elderly, I strongly recommend that you stay home and isolate yourself.
15) If you sneeze or cough, please do so by covering it with a tissue, handkerchief, or even into your elbow.
16) If you have manageable symptoms of the Coronavirus, quarantine yourself and apply the best home care possible. We can perform telehealth sessions during this time. If your symptoms are unmanageable and severe, please contact your nearest doctor or hospital.
17) Once my hands are placed upon you during a session, they do not interact with my own face. Should I have to make contact with myself, such as itch my eye, I will be washing/sanitizing my hands and then making contact. Once I've made contact with myself, I'll be washing/sanitizing my hands again before connecting with you.
18) Should you suspect possible or actual COVID exposure, contact me, obtain a test as soon as possible, and then reschedule your appointment. These short-notice cancellations will not incur a cancellation fee as noted in the guidelines, due to the urgency of these circumstances.
19) I have been vaccinated, and with booster, against COVID in order to support the safety of myself and my community.
