Vishnu's main teachers have been Acharya Premananda (Ed Zadlo), Vamadeva Shastri (David Frawley), and Dr. Vasant Lad, world renowned Ayurvedic physicians and teachers. Other influential and primary teachers include: Dr. Alpana Bhatt, Dr. Dhru Lele, Dr. Subhash Ranade, Dr. Alpa Bapat, Dr. Marc Halpern, Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar, Dr. Jay Apte, Dr. Jayarajan, Dr. Vivek Shanbhag and Dr. John Douillard. Since 2009 Vishnu has been mentored by Dr. Alpana Bhatt, learning more Ayurveda and specializing in Marma Therapy. Vishnu's other main teachers have been Amma, Adyashanti and Jeff Foster.
