MUST SCHEDULE! REIKI SESSION WITH CHRISTOPHER

Still Point Ayurveda is proud to announce that Christopher Simancik (my beloved partner) will be offering INTRODUCTORY REIKI SESSIONS for the month of July.

What is Reiki, you may ask?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery

Time: 1 hour

Cost: $50.00

Sessions are generally available Friday's and Saturday's.

Contact Christopher with question or Vishnu to schedule.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Check out one of his testimonials:

"As a person who has been working on her health for many years, I was excited to hear that Chris had become a Reiki Practitioner. I suffer from high tension, anxiety, and an agitated nervous system. My session with Chris was a powerfully peaceful grounding experience. I felt safe and secure. His energy and presence were like being wrapped in a warm soft blanket and I was comforted throughout the entire session. His hands seemed to read what my body needed in the most intuitive way. As he moved around my body, I felt the tension and anxiety release from my being and my nervous system settled down as I was surrounded by his peace and grace. I am grateful and blessed to have the experience of Chris' gifts."- JW

Christopher's Biography:

Christopher Simancik has always felt a calling to help others, as far as he could remember. He felt guided and inspired by the practice of Reiki and became certified as a level one practitioner. As part of Chris' journey, he was studying to become a nurse until he felt passionately compelled to redirect his focus and has currently enrolled in school studying biological sciences with the intention to enter into the laboratory environment and better understand the relationships between various microbes and overall application to health and well-being.

Christopher has a deep respect and love for animals and spends a lot of his free time learning about them. He has a sensitive and loving touch. His intuitive, empathic abilities and gentle nature provide a supportive atmosphere. Working with Christopher will support you in feeling nurtured, heard, and cared for.

AYURVEDIC POSTPARTUM MASSAGE

Still Point Ayurveda is proud to announce the addition of Ayurvedic Postpartum Massage with Jade Groff,CNM, LMT, JourneyDance™ Facilitator.

Ayurvedic Postpartum Massage

This massage is incredibly relaxing and restorative.  Traditionally, women in India are massaged everyday as part of a restorative program which also includes specific herbs and food, for the first 42 days after childbirth.  Postpartum Ayurvedic massage uses warm oil, typically sesame, in large amounts.  The oil is part of the therapy.  This massage begins with a head treatment combining the use of warm oil, Ayurvedic face and head techniques, and CranioSacral therapy.  A full body massage follows with rhythmic strokes and pressure points to reduce the natural stress of pregnancy, labor, and birth, and promote wellbeing and balance during postpartum recovery.  A woman can receive this massage a few days after childbirth.  This massage is beneficial at any time during the postpartum period (and beyond the 42 day period).  It is best received at a minimum of once a week.  When a woman is nurtured, she feels more ease during this powerful transition. Many common symptoms, such as deep exhaustion, weak digestion, overwhelm, emotional imbalance or depression, and stress/worry can be soothed and alleviated with this nurturing treatment. Jade may also recommend herbal treatments and foods to facilitate healing.

Sessions are 75 minutes. With steam sauna,  95 minutes.
